Have you watched Soul from Disney, yet? Seriously, go watch it. It’s a wonderful movie, and of course one that you may cry to. I cried and I am pretty sure it was uglier than Kim Kardashian’s cry. 😭
What we learned from this movie: live your life. Don’t obsess over your passions, and don’t live life without passion. It’s that easy 🧐. Tommy’s been telling me this for three years now, but a Disney movie is what put this together for me, personally. There is no purpose to our lives, we just have to live it and feel it! And do what makes you happy. So, in saying that, I ate so much chocolate today 😎.
Two days ago, what happened at the Capitol, is a day to feel all sorts soft emotions. Ashamed and unhopeful for the future. That’s normal to feel that way, and I really hope this country shapes up. People, wtf!!
So, it’s ironic that this adorable Disney movie comes out now, in the midst of a messy year.
To make our day into a positive despite this mess, we took our “Soul” inspo and turned the day into something wonderful. First, Beckham’s car seat was …. 👏🏼…. placed into the forward facing setting. I’m crying for real now because he’s such a big boy and time is flying. The little face of excitement on our trip to Valley Forge, I just couldn’t handle it. His cheeks were beaming… beaming.
Then I said, let’s go watch the sunset. This used to be my favorite thing to do at the art museum b.b. (before Beckham). There are no words for the beauty and the peace that it brings. The time the sun sets nowadays brings the sounds of the rush hour traffic, too, that we thankfully don’t have to be waiting in.
Here are some photos from our walk today outside at Valley Forge. Enjoy!!
