Two of the best places to see the autumn leaves 🍁 : Valley Forge State Park and Jim Thorpe. Taking these two trips while the fall leaf colors changed, is something I was really excited about.
Jim Thorpe
Me and Beckham decided to drive up the turnpike one day and we had two guests that joined: my dad and brother 😎. We spent the day walking around the tiny little shops, had lunch, and sipped some magical coffee at the Happy Potter themed coffee shop.
Not our home, but love the simplicity.
Our backyard the night before the adventure!
The sun setting makes the leaves look so pretty and golden 🍁.
Muggles’ Mug! You have to check them out. It’s a hidden gem coffee shop, and their coffee was really good. I had the ButterBeer latte, which tasted of a very buttery caramel. OMG. My brother had the hot chocolate, and my dad had the Mandrake Maple Latte. His latté had maple flavor, white chocolate and cinnamon.
Muggles’ mug sugar cookies were soooo good. This was gone the moment it was opened.
I heard that Jim Thorpe is referred to as “little Switzerland” for its beautiful scenery and friendliness. The small town feel was wonderful, and we really enjoyed the day trip!
Just a trip to the candy store before we left for lunch.
Only to return back home to see the sunset once again.
Valley Forge
Me and Beckham couldn’t get enough of the fall colors that week, so we took Tommy out to Valley Forge one afternoon on another day.
Another beautiful fall day settled down. The season came and went so fast, but taking advantage of the scenery that week was nothing short of amazing.
Now, onto winter. ☃️
