2 Books I HIGHLY recommend. They are both written from a Northern European point of view, where they experience the coldest and darkest of winters, yet they somehow find a way to make their lives meaningful and yes.. “cozy”. I think a lot of us can relate to these books. They explain our reasoning (not literally but more for that “homey” feeling) for shopping at Home Goods and Ikea. Flameless Candles! I love flameless candles because you don’t have to worry about them around the house (especially with a little one). I have had my eye on some at terrain, but they are just too expensive! I even checked Michael’s craft stores, but they also are expensive. Here are some reasonably priced candles from Amazon and they were shipped the following day. Yay! They also work by remote control and can be brightened or dimmed.

Most favorited candle scent: French Cade Lavender. A very soft, clean scent.
These rugs are my favorite! They dry fast when it rains and holds up well with the summer weather, so far. The prices are very reasonable and they adds more character to the home. Just click any image to see them on Amazon.
Cutting boards or cheese boards. Whichever you want them for! They are bamboo and clean well. My dad’s shore home has the surf board, and so I purchased the pineapple for my home. It is SO CUTE!
I love my mini waffle maker! It is so easy to use and so easy to clean! Literally can take this anywhere, it fits well in a purse (lol) or a suitcase.
