Lunch without a toddler! You heard us! I have this weekend off from work, and we were so excited to go out and about. No one was really outside because it was too dang hot today, once again, so we took advantage of the lesser crowds. I wore my plain yellow mask out; Tommy wore his cute Lilo and Stitch mask and his short short bathing suit (Chubbies brand that is very similar to this one). And yes, we washed our hands! I hope you washed yours today?!
Guys can get away with wearing simple clothes in the summer. Not women! We need our makeup (which melts, especially with a mask God help us), earrings, bracelets, shoes, outfit that’s fitting to the weather (and an outfit that doesn’t show sweat or any type of perspiration), and an outfit that will look good in pictures because this is, like, your day out. The pressure, omg! And here was Tommy, wearing a bathing suit.
I decided to wear all white. Why would you do such a thing, Krystle? Because there is no child present today for lunch, that’s why. I thought gray matte painted nails would go nicely to match.
Anyway, it’s all in good fun! And if you’d like to know when two parents are out without their child, please look below. What you’ll find is two people in their thirties playing with iPhone portrait mode and having adult beverages other than coffee! And maybe also, looking for and purchasing records. Bottom’s up.
Painted my nails in a whopping 5 minutes this AM.
Sally Hansen – Insta Dri “On My Grey” /// OPI Matte Top Coat
My favorite topcoat of all time because it works with any regular color!

white shoes, white shorts, white shirt. summer style done.
First of all, the food at Stable 12 is amazing. The pulled chicken sandwich and tacos were a 100% YES.
Vintner’s Table is so aesthetically pleasing inside, but we sat outside because of the new government restrictions (and that’s okay, we support it!). I had a Blueberry-Lemonade Sangria. Tomas had their black label Pinot Noir. Both were so refreshing and a bit chilled on this hot day.
Converse never fails. I put these on so fast going out the door, that the shoe tongue is still tucked in. just keeping it real.
I have the Blenders Eyewear in Guava.
Not knowing what to expect from this cool store, but we totally bought some gems of Rod Stewart, U2, Audioslave, David Bowie to play on our Victrola. 🙂 The used records here are amazingly priced, and each record is listened to by the store before it is shelved. #quality.
