Taking down the Christmas decor, our home has turned bare. Really bare. The lights, the tree, the Christmas colors warmed up our lives. Now, we need to decorate and warm this place back up for the next holiday, Valentine’s Day! (Or if you don’t celebrate that just call it “Treat Yourself to Some Flowers Season”?) Wine not!? 🤣
I’m also lately into bright colors, especially bright pink. It’s so grey outside, the grass looks yellow, so hot pink spices that up! Wouldntyasay?
I took a picture of baby’s breath (in the summer) in some pink Vans shoes. It’s time, this year, to just get creative and get some more flowers! 👟
The best place to buy flowers…
Hands down Trader Joe’s. The prices and the freshness (can anyone tell me where they buy their flowers from?) is hard to beat. They last a really long time, too. They smell fresh and fragrant. 🙌🏼 I always remember to change out the flower water daily and trim the stems regularly. Trader Joe’s has a wonderful selection of colors, and they even sell cute little succulents 🍃, they don’t succ at all! Ha ha.
I’d really love to find a local flower farm!
💐 Decor for your home,
When you’re done shopping with Trader Joe’s, another fun place to stop is Michael’s craft store. Two things I purchased that I love: hot pink construction paper to cut hearts and paper flowers to make floral garland.

Floral Treats 🍰 ,
Collegeville bakery, once again: we love them! If you haven’t seen their Instagram, for February 14th, they are taking orders for a donut bouquet. Tommy better have ordered me one already 🤣
We hope you all have a fun post-winter holiday. I don’t know about you guys but we are getting a bit stir crazy 🥴. These little projects and baking have definitely been helping! So… I hope we helped inspire you!
