Something I came across on Instagram was FinalStraw. If you hadn’t heard of them, click here to check their Instagram page out. You can also click here to check out their main website. They should be your last straw, too 🙂 I am shocked at how this straw is so powerful, yet so small.
On FinalStraw website, you can find a hilarious mermaid starring in commercials for this product. The humor is pleasantly sarcastic and they do such a great job of promoting their straw. I felt completely dumbfounded when I watched them. I am so proud of them, and I don’t even know them! 😀
One of the purposes of this blog/website is to provide a bit of color to your day, whether through story, a recipe, or a random finding I want to promote. This time, the Final Straw completely grabbed my attention: they are all for helping the earth become a cleaner place. With that, they are also for saving the wild life. C’mon you haven’t been in a cave this whole time, our plastic straws are causing so much harm to the environment!!

The FinalStraw team was kind enough to send us a FinalStraw to have and try. Not only did they send my favorite color case (Sea Tur-teal), but they sent the really pretty rainbow straw. Included with the delivery was a handwritten note saying thank you, to me?! For using their straw to reduce the use of plastic and single use straws. They also placed this cool mother earth pin that says “mama,” and a bunch of stickers. You guys are the best!!

FinalStraw Case
The product is amazing in that the case is made out of recyclable materials. The case holds both the straw and the cleaning wand. The case is also small enough to hang on your key chain, or hang in your purse. There is no reason not to carry it around with you.

The straw itself is fold-able. The shell of the straw is made of rust-proof stainless steel, and then the inside is silicone. It folds into four pieces, yet stays intact. I’m serious!!
What I also love about this straw (you can laugh at me but that’s okay I am saving sea turtles) is that this straw does not get clogged. And there is no weird taste like you would get with paper straws! It reminds me of one of those slap bracelets, remember those??
Cleaning Brush
Just like your toothbrush, you want to wash your straw out with each use. You can simply just sip some clean water through the straw and pack it up until you get home. Once you get home, you can use that fancy little brush that’s provided in your case to clean your straw. So easy! And then! You can always put the straw through the dishwasher, as Final Straw made this product dishwasher safe.
Beckham loves this straw, too. He thinks it’s so funny when you take it out of it’s case and laughs when it snaps into a straw. I think the color of the case grabs his attention.
This is something I will use indefinitely. The marketing is amazing alone, and I understand all of the work that goes into making a product. I support Final Straw 1000%. We want to make an impact in this world, too. What are you doing that is helping our planet!?
