Follow us along the pictures as we make this rosey-blooming strawberry bunch. This bunch can be a wonderful gift to yourself, or to your loved one. It’s also freakin easy to make!!
Grab your pots and pans sisters and brothers, let’s do this. 😀
- White or dark chocolate morsels
- 1 tablespoon veggie oil
- 1 bunch strawberries
- Bamboo sticks
- Chopped almonds, to your liking.
Grab some fresh strawberries from your local grocery store or market, wash ‘em good with water. Vinegar + water is also a good wash. Dry them well and set aside.
I cut off the green tops for a few strawberries and then found that this step didn’t matter. So up to you!
Keeping the tips of the strawberries on helps them stick to the bamboo sticks.
Choose your toppings! I chose to chop up some almonds to garnish over the melted chocolate flavors. Dark chocolate and white chocolate were our two choices.
– in a large pot bring about 3 cups water to a soft boil. Place a safe cooking glass over this pot and then add your bag of chocolates.
– when you add your chocolates, add in the tbsp of oil so that your chocolates melt into ooey gooey goodness.
After these strawberries are chilled in the fridge, gather some baby breath flowers, an unused lunch bag and some plastic wrap. I used a ziplock bag for this next part.
Wrap them up like the market 💐.
Now hand this beautiful package to your love, or to yourself. Best enjoyed with some good red wine or some really good hot chocolate <3.
